Lauren Ash

 

Lauren Elizabeth Ash was born on the 4th of February 1983 in Belleville, Ontario. Ash is most well-known for her role on the sitcom Superstore's Dina Fox. She is also an alumni of both Second City Toronto Mainstage and Second City Chicago mainstage and is part of the comedy duo "Cory!" She is a twice Canadian Comedy Award winner for Best Female Improviser in 2006 and 2007 . She was also awarded Best Female Performance Television for Almost Heroes in 2012 and in 2015 was awarded the the award for Best Female Performance in a Feature Film for her character Carol in the movie Dirty Singles. She also appeared on the prank show "Scare Techniques". Since 2020, Lauren co-hosts her own podcast, "True Crime and Cocktails" alongside her cousin, Christy Oxborrow.
